Edinburgh-based Banks Machine & Engineering has been awarded a $630,000 contract from Xwind LLC of Indianapolis to supply structural frame assemblies for small aircraft flight simulators. Xwind has developed a product for student pilots that provide multi-axis motion to simulate actual aircraft movement. Banks Machine & Engineering will replace a contract with a current supplier located in Texas.
